Could not have asked for a better experience. These gentlemen are beyond amazing. In my first dance class- ever- they had me laughing so hard, feeling so comfortable and relaxed and made it so warm and welcoming.My fiancé happened upon this place during our stay in Sarasota for the beginners class and all the students went on and on about how incredible John and his son are. They were not exaggerating. This father and son team really care about you and helping you learn. They explain things in a way that’s so helpful for beginners but their methods help you pick up fast and feel confident. Did I mention John cracked me up the whole time? I love it. We are taking a few lessons and would spend the rest of our time there if we lived closer. I cannot day enough nice things, they’re just truly wonderful down to earth people and make dance fun. Highly recommend to beginner and advanced- you won’t regret it!

When I went to The Ballroom of Sarasota, I had been told repeatedly that my dancing was so bad that lessons would not help. John and his son, Ryan have taught me laugh at myself. The other students have been so friendly and encouraging. We all laugh a lot. I am having a wonderful time and my dancing has improved!

Great family on business place to learn dance ballroom dance I thought it would be for sissies but it's a blast and a good place to learn Elizabeth is the best instructor at Ballroom dancer at the studio Beyond it out. And the prettiest instructor there but they're all great people

My friend and I walked into a Monday night beginners class. We were hooked. If you want a supportive community and to be part of an amazing family, this is the place to invest your time in. It does not matter if you only come to classes or if you take private lessons or do both, you are treated with respect and they provide you the same focus to detail and rythm. You will not be disappointed. The owners and all instructor's treat you with respect and are supportive. You become a part of the family. It is the greatest experience of all time. If you love music and wanted to explore or perfect your dancing skills, I highly recommend this Ballroom. It is for all ages single or couples. You will not be disappointed.I started taking lesson with Ryan Moldthon, I recommend him. He is a stickler for detail but always keeps you at ease. He has great patience and is funny and if you are lucky he will do some magic tricks. That is another one of his talents. I am very fortunate to have walked into this Ballroom

I walked into The Ballroom of Sarasota never having danced ballroom before. I was immediately welcomed into the group classes. The owner/instructor, John Moldthan, is an incredible teacher, who shares his love of dance and helps us become better dancers than we ever thought possible! I have many years of experience as an educator and, believe me, John Moldthan is a fabulous dance teacher. I have also taken private lessons with John for almost a year. He has managed to take me, the woman with two left feet and no rhythm, to a dancer I can hardly believe is me. If you are looking for a dance studio that is FUN, FRIENDLY and has a FABULOUS teacher, then The Ballroom of Sarasota is for you!
